We built SeriHook for original content that gives your audience something of value. Producing or publishing the following is not allowed.

Prohibited content

Copyrighted characters and works: characters from cartoons, films or games; copies of well-known works.
Brand logos and trademarks: logos of brands you don't have permission for, or content that appears to represent a brand.
Impersonating real people: using a real person's voice, likeness or name as if they were speaking.
Misleading health, finance and legal claims: promises of a cure, guaranteed returns, or definitive legal outcomes. Content on these topics carries a “for information only” note.
Hate speech: content that demeans or targets a person or group because of who they are.
Sexual content: obscene or sexual content.
Violence: content that glorifies, encourages or graphically depicts violence.
Spam and unoriginal content: reposting other people's content, or publishing the same video again and again with small changes.

Unsourced statistics

Numbers without a source can't be presented as fact. Representative data is labelled “representative”.

Voice use

Voice cloning is off by default. When available, it can only be used for your own voice and with your explicit consent; cloning someone else's voice is not allowed.

How we enforce this

Content goes through automated checks before and after production. Suspicious content is sent to human review. Series are checked for repetition, with a warning for episodes that are too similar.
