Data deletion

There are three ways to delete your data. Whichever you choose, we record the request and let you know when it's done.
1. Delete your account in the panel
In the panel, go to Settings → Account and use “Delete account”. You can export your data before deleting.
2. Remove the connection through Meta
If you remove SeriHook's access in your Instagram or Facebook settings and request data deletion, Meta sends us a deletion request automatically. You'll get a confirmation code and a status link; you can check the status below.
3. Write to us
If you can't access the panel, send a deletion request through the contact form using the email address on your account. We'll start once we've verified it's you.
What gets deleted?
- Your account and profile details
- Your Instagram connection and encrypted access tokens
- Series, plans, scripts, voiceovers and videos
- Post insights
What isn't deleted?
Posts already published on Instagram stay on your Instagram account; you need to delete them on Instagram. Records we're legally required to keep (e.g. invoices) are kept for that period.
Check the status of a deletion request
When you remove the connection through Meta, you get a confirmation code. Enter it to see the status of your request.
