Who we are

SeriHook is a software service that produces and publishes Instagram Reels series. The data controller for your personal data is: [Company name, address — to be confirmed].

Data we collect

To provide the service, we process the following data:

Account details: name, email address, a hash of your password (the password itself is never stored), language preference.
Instagram connection: account ID, username, profile details and an access token stored encrypted.
Content you create: series settings, series bible, plan, scripts, voiceovers, scene plans and videos.
Publishing and insights data: publishing status and post insights retrieved from Instagram.
Usage and security logs: session details, a hash of your IP address, audit logs, error logs.
Forms: what you share in the waitlist, contact and survey forms.

Why we process your data

To create your account and provide the service.
To produce the series plan, scripts, voiceovers and videos.
To publish approved videos on Instagram and show their insights.
To calculate credit and quota usage.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse and prohibited content.
To send you notifications about the service.

We don't sell your data. To provide the service, we share it only as needed with these service providers:

Anthropic (Claude): relevant text for generating the series bible, plan, script and scene plan.
ElevenLabs: script text for voiceovers. We use a paid plan that allows commercial use. Voice cloning is off by default; when available, it can only be used for your own voice and with your explicit consent.
Meta Platforms (Instagram): videos, captions and publishing requests; retrieving insights.
Hosting provider: the server that runs the app and database (VPS provider — to be confirmed).
Email provider: sending account and notification emails (provider — to be confirmed).

International transfers

Anthropic, ElevenLabs and Meta are service providers located outside Türkiye. Transfers to them will be carried out in line with applicable law (Article 9 of the KVKK and related rules). The legal basis for transfers will be confirmed during legal review.

AI-generated content

Videos produced by SeriHook are made with AI. Every post published to Instagram is marked with the “made with AI” information (AI info).

Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, data is deleted or anonymised; records we're legally required to keep (e.g. invoices) are kept for that period. The time it takes to remove data from backups will be confirmed.

Security

Access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, sessions use httpOnly cookies, forms and logins are rate-limited, and admin actions are written to an audit log.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and to ask for it to be corrected, deleted or exported. In the panel, go to Settings → Account to export your data or delete your account. For your rights under the KVKK, see the KVKK notice.

Changes

When we update this policy, we change the date on this page and email you about significant changes.
